 9-BALL FALL TEAM  PRIZE CHECKS:

All 9-ball prize fund checks were mailed before the end of 2007 with the exception of 2 teams which has been mailed.  All players should have received their share of the prize fund check by now. 

***CENTRAL OHIO APA HAS BIG WINNERS***

The National Player incentive program has proved to be good to players in the Central Ohio APA League.  We have had 2 players win the grand prize of going to Vegas from the last 2 sessions.  They were Mike Ramirez and Jim Murnen.  The Fall 2007 session drawing provided trips to Las Vegas for 2 more Central Ohio APA Players.  They are Kim Meanor and Norm Burchett.  They will get royal treatment by the National APA from April 30-May 3.

Runners-up in our area received an Allison Fisher Cue and Dr. Cue training tapes:  They are Mike Iles, Stacey Wilson, and James Jones. 

Fall Tier 2 Tri-Cup:

A total of 26 teams in Central Ohio APA participated in the Fall Tier 2 Tri-Cup Tournament which was held on January 11 & 12, 2008.  A total of $11,250 was paid out at this Tri-Cup.

4 Teams have qualified for the City Regional which is scheduled for June 20-22.   These teams not only qualified for the City Regional, but each team walked out with $1,000 each.  They were:

FALL TIER 1 TRI CUP

The Fall Tier 1 Tri Cup was held January 25-27.  62 teams competed for the chance to be one of the 16 teams that qualified for the upcoming City Regional.  8 1ST place teams won $1500 each (4 each in the winners and losers brackets) and the 8 2nd place teams won $800 each (ditto) on Sunday afternoon.  Qualified teams and winners are:

Births:

Brooklyn Geygan Hahn and Phil Hahn had a little (big!) boy, Charles Henrey Hahn on January 14, 2008. He weighed 9 lb., 14 oz.  Grandparents are Mark & Vicki Johnson.  Congratulations on one more addition to this family!

Weddings:

Billy and Jennifer Armstrong were married on September 30, 2007. They had a great honeymoon in Las Vegas.  Congratulations, newlyweds!
